ENTRANCE CRITERIA
- Must have an Axis I OR Axis II Diagnosis.
- The consumer must be experiencing
symptoms/behaviors related to his/her
diagnosis that impair functional ability in
academic, social, vocational, community or
family domains.
- The child is living in a family setting (natural
home, regular or therapeutic foster care) and
is at risk of being removed from that setting.
- The child is at risk of or has already
experienced significant preschool/school
disruption.
LIKELY CANDIDATES OF SERVICE
- Consumers who have been long term
suspended from school,
- Consumers who are on a modified school
day,
- Consumers who are at risk for out of home
placement and school disruption

Day Treatment is a facility based mental health service designed for children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 20 years. Day Treatment Services provide mental health interventions in the context of a treatment milieu. These interventions include a variety of structured treatment service programs that build on strengths and address identified functional problems associated with the complex conditions of each individual consumer and family.
