Haleigh is our HR Manager for Hope Services, LLC. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Haleigh has been with Hope Services, LLC since July of 2019. She directly oversees Payroll and Employee Benefits, as well as maintaining daily communication with employees about any concerns and issues and strives to provide helpful and accurate feedback to all employees.

Lindsay Caldwell, LCSW

Lindsay is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Clinical Director for Hope Services, LLC. She graduated from UNC at Wilmington with a BA in Psychology and the University of Georgia with a Masters degree in Social Work as well as her certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has been with Hope Services, LLC since 2007. She has experience with individuals, families, and groups. Lindsay has a passion for Evidenced Based Therapy. She is rostered in Parent Child-Interactions Therapy (PCIT) and is a level 1 trainer and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Lindsay is accredited in Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), trained in Eco Systemic Family Therapy (ESFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). As the agency’s Clinical Director, she is dedicated to ensuring that Hope Services is providing quality supervision and training in evidenced based practices to our staff in order to continually improve our clinical approaches. In order to continually improve our services as well as take part in policy development more globally, she currently serves on Alliance’s Clinical Advisory Committee, Clinical Director/Medical Director collaborative, Intensive In Home collaborative and oversees the agency’s Clinical Team and client rights committee. Lindsay also provides training on various mental health topics to include trauma informed care in collaboration with the school system, Department of Social Services, and Project Catch as well as other venues in the community.


Sara Leonard, LCSW
QA/QI Director

Sara is our QA/QI Director. Sara graduated from NCSU with a Masters in Social Work. Sara joined Hope Services in 2010, after an acquisition of another agency, in which she was the Regional Director. Sara is a fully licensed clinician with more than ten years of experience in direct services and quality management. She currently represents the adolescent substance abuse providers on the Wake CPAC Steering Committee as well as represents the Wake County Provider Network on the Alliance Provider Advisory Council. Sara has led the agency through three successful National Accreditation reviews and is vital in the agency’s mission to continuously monitor and improve the quality services. Sara is a fully licensed clinician who is also a PCIT rostered clinician.

Missy is our Training Director for Hope Services, LLC. She graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, then went on to attend John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she obtained her Masters degree in Forensic Psychology. She has been with Hope Services since the agency’s inception 2004. As the agency’s Training Director, Missy is dedicated to ensuring that Hope Services is providing adequate training to internal staff as well as community stakeholders in order to continually improve our service delivery and maintain compliance with changing requirements. Missy is a certified trainer in System of Care and Person Centered Thinking with the Learning Community. She also authored the state sanctioned HOPE curriculum. In order to continually improve our services, for the last 10 years Missy has served on The Wake County Community Collaborative for Children and Families.


Dr. Karen Miles

Dr. Miles is our Medical Director. She is a child and adolescent psychiatrist with 12 years of experience. Dr. Miles is board certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. She attended medical school at Florida State University. Dr. Miles completed her General Psychiatry Residency training at UNC Hospitals. Her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship was done at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Miles has been with the agency since August 2010.

Trish is our Intake Program Director. Trish has been with the agency for 5 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Behavioral Tech Certificate. Trish has worked with children is multiple venues including a level III group home in High Point, Juvenile Court in Forsyth County, Group Counseling for Juvenile Court in Houston, an alternative school in San Antonio, Tx, Crisis & Assessment in Durham, and Intake for mental health at WCHS and private agencies.

John is our Utilization Director. He has been working in community mental health field since graduating college in 2003. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and has worked in various roles as a mentor, Intensive In-home Counselor, County Social Worker, and manager. He has been with Hope Services since 2011, and has a passion for helping others to overcome their struggles and enhance their strengths.

Marva is our Service Access Director. Marva has been employed with the agency for over 6 years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management; even though her degree is in business she has always had a love for children and a dedication to ensuring their mental health, well being and safety were secured. Marva has held several positions during her tenure with the agency to include, Mental Health Case Manager, Case Management Program Director and Intensive In-Home Administrative Program Director.

Brandi is our Administrative Operations Program Director for our Facility Based Services. She graduated with her BS in Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill in 2001. Brandi has worked with Hope Services since February of 2015. Brandi has remained in the mental health field for 15 years and is dedicated to a lifetime of advocacy because she is deeply committed to bettering the lives of individuals managing the effects of trauma, abuse and mental illness.

Lynne is our Billing Director. She graduated from UNC at Chapel Hill. Lynne has been with Hope Services since it started in 2004. She serves on the Health and Safety committee.


Lori Krasner Thorne

Lori is our Assistant Clinical Supervisor and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in North Carolina. Lori obtained her BA in Psychology from NCSU and MSW from the University of South Carolina. Lori has worked with a variety of populations including children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups. Lori has experience working with a variety of mental illnesses including anxiety, depression, adjusting to experiencing trauma, behavioral misconduct, pre-teen and teenage stressors, substance misuse, stress from life changes, and relational difficulties. Lori is an accredited Triple P provider, a clinician and trainer in ESFT, and is also on the roster list for Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) through the Center for Child and Family Health. She additionally uses evidence based practices of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Lori has worked with Hope Services since April of 2010.

Terrie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and our Clinical Operations Director. Terrie has worked with a variety of populations including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Terrie has experience working with teens and families in residential programs before coming to Hope Services. She is trained in Seven Challenges, Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS) Group, Positive Parenting Practices (Triple P), Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Terrie has worked with Hope Services since January of 2013.

Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and our Clinical Supervisor. Amanda has worked with a variety of populations including children, adolescents, and families. She enjoys working with clients in order to achieve positive outcomes ranging from reducing symptoms (depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), to increasing assertive communication or adjusting to new life stages. She is rostered in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Amanda has been with the agency since July of 2013.


Hilary Leja

Hilary is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and our Clinical Supervisor. Hilary obtained her BSW from Michigan State University and MSW from the University of Michigan. Hilary has experience working with young children, adolescents, and families and has a passion for early intervention work. She is rostered in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and is currently becoming rostered as a Level 1 PCIT trainer. In her work at Hope Services, Hilary also partners with Wake County Human Services completing developmental assessments for children in foster care ages birth to six years old. Hilary has been with Hope Services since November 2015.


Neal Frazier

Neal has worked in the field of Mental Health Services since early 2006. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Sport Science from the University Of North Carolina at Pembroke. Neal began working in the field of mental health as a Habilitation Technician and later transitioned into the roll of Community Support Tech. He has been with Hope Services, LLC since June 2010. Neal has worked in our Day Treatment and Intensive In-Home services, and currently serves as Facility Based Program Director at your Ray of Hope Day Treatment facility. He is trained in PCIT, Triple P, TFCBT and ESFT evidence base practices. His passion is working with Children and Adolescents and seeing their growth, success and ability to work through challenges being placed upon them.

Jenna is our Recruiting and Retention Specialist. She received her BSW from Barton College and has been with Hope Services since March of 2014. During her time at Hope Services, Jenna has worked within many different departments and has gained an in depth understanding of the mental health field. She is committed to recruiting the best applicants to onboard at Hope Services and dedicated in promoting positive retention within Hope Services for all employees.
