Community Based Services

Outpatient Services

These services are most commonly office based. Community Based sessions may be available based on clinician availability and clinical appropriateness. These services include individual, family therapy and group therapy. Through the use of evidenced based interventions (Triple P, ABC, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy “CBT”, Play Therapy, ART Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Parent Child Interactive Therapy “PCIT” and other models), clinicians use a person centered approach to help clients overcome mental health symptoms.

Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Management

These services include initial Psychiatric Evaluations and medication management services. These services are office based with one of our Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Our Psychiatric Services are offered face to face or through telepsych.

Intensive In Home

Intensive In Home is a home and community based therapy program designed to keep children permanently in their primary home setting, to provide additional support in foster care or therapeutic foster care, or to facilitate return home from any out of home setting. Funding for IIH services is fully covered by Medicaid, NC HealthChoice, and IPRS funding. Funding may be available for individuals with private insurance or no insurance.

Teams are flexible with scheduling and will work around individual, school, and employment schedules. Hope Services also provides access to 24/7 crisis first responder services for all IIH clients.

Therapy Groups

Hope Services offers group therapy in the following Evidence Based Treatment:

Structure Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress (SPARCS)

SPARCS is recommended for adolescents experiencing a history of being involved in or witnessing one or more incidences of interpersonal trauma such as: violence against oneself or family member, abuse, life threatening injury/illness, ongoing stress, difficulty with affect and impulse regulation, problems with self-perception, self destructive behavior and risk taking, and difficulty with interpersonal relationships. SPARCS is a 16 week group sessions lasting 60 minutes.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

DBT is recommended for adolescents experiencing difficulty managing emotions, depression/anxiety, self injurious behavior, and difficulty with interpersonal relationships. DBT is a 12 week group sessions lasting 90 minutes.
